“Associate expert” program in agricultural education

Are you an expert in a field related to rural and agricultural transitions? Would you like to share your knowledge and contribute to the education of younger generations?

The French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty is rolling out the “Associate Experts in Agricultural Education” program in the fall of 2025, which was presented at the last International Agricultural Show in 2025.

The goal? To support training in agroecological transition for educational staff at agricultural high schools. This program brings together, on a voluntary basis, experts in these fields and technical agricultural education institutions.

One of the priority themes concerns technological and digital innovations in the service of transitions. The PEPR Agroecology and Digital program is fully in line with this dynamic and constitutes a pool of resources and expertise for agricultural education. One of the program's objectives is to contribute to the training of younger generations and educational communities in order to increase the workforce in agroecology and digital technology and contribute to the renewal of agricultural professions.

In concrete terms, the associated expert may intervene in different ways depending on the requests of the institutions:

  • Individual or collective support for teachers
  • Assistance in the design of educational resources
  • Conferences or demonstrations
  • Presentations to learners
