Bandeau AgroDiv

Integration of large-scale paired multi-omics data

PhD research project as part of the AgroDiv project, supervised by INRAE.

Project summary:

This thesis project aims to develop statistical analysis methods to explore inter-species genetic diversity. Specifically, it is part of the AgroDiv project (PEPR Agroecology and Digital) which aims for a fine characterization of genetic variability based on an extensive collection of botanical and animal species that may be of interest to agriculture, particularly in a context of strong environmental changes and climate change. In this context, this thesis work will focus on developing methods for integrating omics data to explore relationships between genetic markers of interest and transcriptomic and epigenetic signals. These methods will form the basis for defining relationships specific to a given species or, conversely, conserved across species and will allow for a better characterization of the variability of regulatory phenomena in a given breed.
